Our precision honing capabilities include holding tolerances of .0001″ straightness, .000050″ roundness and surface finishes down to a 2 Ra. We hone materials from .040″ to 7.3″ in diameter and up to 36″ in length.

Sure, we do all of the run-of-mill honing, but we have the capacity to take on challenging honing projects that other U.S. contractors won’t even attempt. KF Honing also differentiates itself by investing in diverse equipment, including a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
